This the beginning of a series that we plan to run periodically here at the SOAP notes. It will likely take a few different forms as time goes by, but we want to pay recognition to some great nurses out there, past and present.
Today’s spotlight is on Trini Moad Snow, a retired 91 year old ICU nurse from Idaho. This story is from earlier this year but absolutely still worth sharing. It does a great job illustrating Moad Snow’s dedication to patient care over the course of a 40+ year career. One of my favorite highlights is her experience training in New York in a “new” type of nursing unit, which became the what we know as the intensive care unit. Thanks to the Idaho Press Tribune for the great write-up. Do yourselves a favor and check out the whole piece here.
